Shatta Wale Was A Cast In 'By The Fireside' - Maame Dokono Reveals


Celebrated Ghanaian broadcaster and actress, Maame Dokono known in private life as Grace Omaboe has  disclosed that controversial dancehall act, Shatta Wale   was part of her team during the By the Fireside TV show.

According to her, Shatta Wale was a gong gong beater in By The Fireside and one of the numerous persons she has helped.

“....actually, Shatta Wale was a gong gong beater in the By the Fireside -- he’s one of the numerous persons I have helped…,” 

Speaking with showbiz giant, Micky Osei-Berko, better known as Dada Boat, the NPP sympathizer boasted that Shatta Wale was among the numerous persons who passed through her hands before becoming a star.

She further said that Black Stars Captain, Asamoah Gyan, and his brother, Baffour Gyan appear on the programme which was sponsored the 31st December Women’s Movement in the 90’s.

Shatta Wale entered the music scene as Bandana, producing the hit song, Bandana from Ghana before going into hibernation.

He resurfaced later with the stage ‘Shatta Wale’ and has since enjoyed great success in the music industry.
