BERNARD RALPH Writes: GES Should Know Better Why Sacking 'The Sextape Head teacher' ?

Whenever I say Ghana is a joke people turn out to be calling me names just for hitting the nail right on the head but when it happens so I take consolation from Malcolm X that, "You have to be very careful introducing the truth to the black man, who has never previously heard the truth about himself. The black brother is so brainwashed that he may reject the truth when he first hears it. You have to drop a little bit on him at a time, and wait a while to let that sink in before advancing to the next step"

The laws of Ghana are bias take it or leave it --- that's the bitter truth should I even term it as the gospel truth ?
Apparently, it always favours our greedy leaders who are tax free enjoyers'  but pretend to the masses they're the ones suffering forgetting that a man in the village who can't afford a fertilizer for his crops but keeps paying property rates and many other 'useless' taxes.

The Ghana Education Service happens to be the cause of our many problems because of the frustrations and the nature of our education system is not helping and after attaining the doctors and whatever degrees you end up as unemployed.  Politician,  businessman and founder of the United Renaissance Party (URP)  Mr. Charles Kofi Wayo once said this about education in Ghana and I want to echo it in this very piece  "...You hear people saying I'm doctor, professor,  etc and only what they do is wearing classic suites and nothing better they're sick...."

Ever since a sex video leaked online of a head teacher engaging in sexual activity with a pupil alleged to be 20- year- old --according to GNAT majority of Ghanaians have had their say criticising the head teacher for his acts and the unfortunate thing is some aimless folks started the 'Stool Challenge' if you missed my article on that read here >>>>here
There comes a surprise this morning that the District Education Officer, Mr. Isaac Godwin Kwasi Acquah-Arhin.
(DEO) of the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa has dismissed the head teacher of Edwuman D/A School because he sex  Priscilla Tettey, a final year student of Odoben Senior High School.
What a pity of an educated 'illiterate' DEO?
What sin did the head teacher committed against the GES
?
Mr. Robert Sepey

The head teacher did nothing wrong in education what he did is dubbed Teachers Own Choice (TOC). Lol
Moving on, the teacher did not in any way forced the 'victim' to bleed her its was a consensual sex after watching keenly the video one could hear the 'victim' screaming "Let it touch my heart" which clears depicts the Mr. Robert Sepey and the girl were all enjoying the sex.
Again, the act didn't happened at the school office for brainwashed traditionalists to say the place has been made filthy and must be purified by offering sacrifices to the 'dead and useless gods' or GES to cite him as belittling his office -- for all you know it happened in the head teacher's house .

Adding insult to injury, the code of ethics for head teachers doesn't refrain on teachers having affair with pupils should that be so, then the former president of the republic John Mahama committed same crime -- Mr. Mahama on where he met his wife told Ghanaians during his service he was posted to the Northern Region to teacher history and upon sighting his wife, Lordina the chemistry between them balanced and they started meeting up for date : who knows if he tasted the womanhood then?

What is the constitution saying ?

ACT OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA
ENTITLED

Date of assent: 30th December, 1998.

PART I. THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD

Sub-Part I. Rights of the child and parental duty

(2) The best interest of the child shall be the primary consideration by any court, person, institution or other body in any matter concerned with a child.
The lady is question is two years older than that and can go around having sex with who when she wants.

Does GES understand Consensual Sex as been explained in the constitution?

Absolutely not, a basic law for that matter the age of Consent in Ghana is 16 years old. The age of consent is the minimum age at which an individual is considered legally old enough to consent to participation in sexual activity. Individuals aged 15 or younger in Ghana are not legally able to consent to sexual activity, and such activity may result in prosecution for statutory rape or the equivalent local law.
Ghana statutory rape law is violated when an individual has consensual sexual contact with a person under age 16.

The Ghana Education Service have goofed big time and must apologise to Ghanaians and Mr. Robert Sepey for shaming him and instead call for the arrest of him for filming the act unlawfully.
