CELEBRITIES FLOODS THE INTERNET WITH TRIBUTES TO DAASEBRE AHOUFE GYAMENAH! (Read What Your Favourite Celebrities Said)


Ghanaians yesterday [Friday 29, July, 2016] lost one of their greatest highlife legend of all time Daasebre Ahoufe Gyamenah. Farewell messages were sent to the family of the legend.

Below are some tributes public figures wrote and said upon hearing the demise.

Ghana's rap docta  Okyeame Kwame said in an interview Daasebre saved his career read what he said,

“I have known him [Daasebre Gyamena] before
both of us became popular. Mark Okraku used to
manage Lord Kenya, Akyeame and Daasebre. I
was actually in the studio when he was recording
‘Kokooko’.
Fast forward to 2003 when I returned from
America, my career was dead amd Daasebre came
to my rescue. I called him for a feature because at
that time, he was the hottest musician in Ghana.
When I got to the studio, he had been there for
two hours waiting for me,”

Lord Kenya former hip life artiste now a pastor said, Daasebre was a quite person. Read exactly what he said 

“He is a laid-back person. He doesn’t talk much.
I’m shocked as well. There’s nothing I can say to
express how I feel. I’m so sad,” 

Bisa Kdei  the Mansa hit maker said Daasebre was a great inspiration to him

"He was one of the
people who inspired my music. A legend.
Dasebere Dwamena. RIP."

Daddy Lumba expressed his disbelief and how shock he is.

"I am shocked. The king of Highlife is gone. I can't
believe it."

Sarkodie Africa's rap god took to twitter to write this.

Berla Mundi TV and radio personality with the EIB Network wrote

Daasebre Gyamena is dead? Oh no!!!!!!!!
Terrible news ... I hope it's not true

Lexis Bill a radio and TV personality who hosts Joy 99.7FM flagship program Drive and The Scholarship also wrote

"Really sad to hear of Daasebre Gyamenah's
passing. One of the few who held on to highlife
music. He won't be forgotten. Ever.
#RIPAhuofe"

Akumaa Mama Zimbi host of marriage program Odo Ahomaso on Adom FM and Adom TV took to his official Twitter account and said this about Daasebre Gyamenah

"The great highlife musician Daasebre
Gyamenah has died. May his gentle soul rest
in peace."

So sad losing such a great and untouchable musician may his soul rest in prefect peace!
